The Adamawa State Police Command says it has arrested 40 people in connection with kidnapping activities, cattle rustling and culpable homicide across the state following credible information received by the command.

Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, Commissioner of Police in the state disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the command’s headquarters, Yola said the Police will not relent in the manhunt of those at large until they are apprehended and brought to book.

“The command Anti-kidnapping units in compliance with my directives in my maiden address collaborated with professional hunters being our critical stakeholders in our policing strategies were deployed to Chigari, Yadim, Wuro-Bokki, Sigire, Nasarawo-Jereng villages of Fufore, Mayo-Belwa, Song and Mubi LGAs”, he said.

While appreciating members of the public for their support assured that the suspects will be diligently prosecuted on completion of investigation.

It has been observed that those arrested ages between 15-45 years.
