Unknown gunmen today killed some Navy officers around Awkuzu Junction, in the Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State. While the number of Navy operatives killed has not been ascertained, weapons belonging to the murdered officers were taken by the gunmen, according to reports.
This was exactly the case yet again at Okacha Junction in Idemili South local government of Anambra this evening when some police officers were killed and their weapons were taken by yet some unknown gunmen.
According to an eyewitness account, a police vehicle was also set ablaze during the attack by the unknown gunmen, at Okacha junction.
