While one of the hoodlums identified as Baron was gunned down in a shootout with the Police at the spot, the lifeless body of Chukwunonso a.k.a. “Nolly” was found at the forest near Centenary during a manhunt launched by the police against the fleeing gang members; “some of the gang members escaped with varying degrees of gunshot wounds,” DSP Daniel Ndukwe wrote.

Meanwhile, the victim’s black-colored Lexus 350 Jeep was recovered alongside 1 locally made revolver gun loaded with four 4 cartridges, and another locally fabricated pistol belonging to the hoodlums was recovered.
