Adamawa state has again recorded two COVID-19 new cases, making a total of 4 confirmed cases in the state.
Making the disclosure on Friday evening, Mr. Bashir Ahmad the Secretary to the State Government who is also the State Chairman COVID-19 Containment Committee explained that the new cases have no link to the other two cases in the state.
He said after the Committee received a report of nine out of the eleven samples sent to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC in Abuja seven were tested negative and two showed positive.
‘’The two new cases are one from Hildi, Hong local government and the other who is a female is in Saminaka, Yola South local government and currently at the Isolation Centre,’’ adding that all the four cases are independent of one another.
To this end, he urges citizens of Adamawa to abide by all the safety measures in mitigating the spread of the virus
