Six days after he tested positive of the dreaded coronavirus disease, COVID-19. the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yola and Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Adamawa State chapter, the Most Rev. Stephen Dami Mamza had spoken from isolation, regarding the state of his health.

Bishop Mamza, in a video clip that lasted a minute, and made available to newsmen by his handlers, said that he was getting well and that there is no cause for alarm, added that peoples’ prayers for him have worked.

Bishop Mamza  who is also a member of the state ad-hoc committee on Covid19 however called on the good people of Adamawa State to always maintain COVID-19 protocols of social distancing, washing of hands, and wearing of face mask, “because coronavirus is real!” He exclaimed.
