The former Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II on Wednesday visited the new Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
Reports say that Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II who was on a congratulatory visit to Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli over his coronation and presentation of Staff of Office last Monday by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, an academic visitor at Oxford University in London arrived in Lagos on Tuesday morning.
He later arrived at Kaduna on Wednesday in a private jet, around 8.15 am and subsequently proceeded and arrived at Zaria by 10.45 am.
He congratulated the new Emir and prayed at the late Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris’ grave.
The former Emir of Kano was also met with the new Emir’s families, District Heads and traditional title holders.
Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II later returned to Kaduna together with the Emir of Zazzau around.
Also, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II paid a condolence visit to the family of former governor of Kaduna, Late Balarabe Musa who died last Wednesday.
