ABUJA — The spokesman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Femi Babafemi on Wednesday said the agency will expose all those behind the drug deal involving suspended DCP Abba Kyari.

Kyari was an erstwhile Commander of Intelligence Response Team (IRT), at the Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB) of the Nigeria Police Force.

In a statement, the agency pleaded with members of the public to be patient as the agency would unravel the mystery behind the 25kgs of cocaine intercepted at the Enugu Airport.

Femi said anybody that may be indicted would surely face the full wrath of the law, which had always been the stance of the Chairman/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa.

According to him, the agency would not cover up anyone found guilty, adding that investigations were ongoing on the grilling of the embattled DCP Abba Kyari over his involvement in the Brazil-Ethiopia-Nigeria drug ring.
