Five months after announcing the end of her nine-year-old marriage on social media, Chacha Eke has reportedly reunited with her husband, Austin Faani.
The West African Pilot News reports that in June the Nollywood actress disclosed that she has been ‘living a lie these past years’ with the filmmaker, noting that there has been trouble in her ‘perceived paradise’.
“I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years. True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my ‘perceived paradise,'” she had said.
“For the second time in two years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors, and my parents.”
Just like in 2020 when Eke announced her separation from Faani and later refuted the crash of the then seven-year-old marriage, saying she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the actress, in a video that went viral on Sunday, detailed her battles with bipolar disorder and how the disorder made her hate her husband and children.
“The expensive treasure that I had, still have, is my husband and my children. But trust bipolar disorder to make a mess of my most treasured possessions,” she said.
“If you have bipolar disorder, when you’re having an episode, your favourite thing and people become your worst enemy.”
She also expressed gratitude to her husband for supporting her during the trying moment.
