Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has approved the appointment of fifty state development area councils secretaries.
Press Secretary to the Governor Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou in a statement said the secretaries are to report to the office of the Head of Service on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020 to collect their appointment letters and documentation.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said the appointments are based on merit, urging them to be loyal and dedicated to duty.
‘’While congratulating them for the new appointment, he wants them to help chart a new course in grassroots administration.
‘’The appointment is with immediate effect, ‘’ it stated.
Ibrahim Abdul’ Aziz based in Yola, North Eastern part of Nigeria read Journalism from the prestigiousAhmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria and attended several professional coursesonTackling Sensitive Subjects- BBC World Trust, News Reporting Course, Catholic Media Centre, Reporting Corruption- BBC World Trust and Reporters Training on New Challenges- VOA . In 2012 he was among thosehonored by the by Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA) and presently he is a member, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Member, Translators Without Border (TWB) international.
