The Lagos state government has announced the discharge of a 98-year old woman who was a COVID-19 patient from its isolation center. The Oldest COVID-19 patient in the state isolation centers.

According to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu who disclosed the information on its Twitter yesterday, the 98-year woman was part of the 25 patients that were discharged from the state isolation centers yesterday.

The governor also said that the patients were managed and discharged after being tested negative on two different occasions at different isolation centers in the state.

This then made the total discharged coronavirus patients in the state to 528.

The state has recorded 33 deaths with a total of 2041 cases recorded in the state.

The governor further appreciated the sacrifices of the health workers who are at the frontline. He then enjoined the citizens to play their roles by adhering to public health guidelines by observing physical distancing and wearing face masks.
