Suspected gunmen on Monday morning stormed the family house of Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono, and whisked away his brother named, Babawuro Tofai.
Personal Assistant to the Minister, Umar Wali who confirmed the abduction  said the gunmen attacked the house around 1.00 am, in Gabasawa local government area of Kano State

‘’Before abducting Babawuro Tofai, a young boy in the house was also beaten and he sustained a fracture in the course of the attack,’’ said Wali.

He said they are yet to get communication with the abductor.

Reports earlier say  that earlier on Monday around 2.00 am, gunmen attacked Tumpapi village, Garko local government area, beheaded a man and matcheted his son.

The duo were buried around 9.00 am on Monday.

The spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, when contacted could not be reached as his phone was switched off.
