Writer and trained political scientist, Ebuka Onyekwelu is a writer and columnist with the WAP.
Ebuka is a second class upper division graduate of Political Science from University of Calabar, Calabar Nigeria and holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science with specialization in Government and Development Studies, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria.

Ebuka Onyekwelu has served as a Legislative Assistant to a member of Anambra State House of Assembly. In 2015, he became a lead columnist with one of Nigeria’s biggest online media; naij.com, now legit.ng. 2016 and 2018, joined 9jareporters.com as the head of corporate and strategic planning, editor, and columnist. In 2018, he founded Kaluza.com.ng, a media and leadership/political consulting services platform, with a blog that focuses on analyzing events and issues of public interest.
Research/Academic Interests
Ebuka is a Good Governance advocate, a public speaker and a passionate proponent of responsible citizenship as basis for enthroning good governance. He is a member of Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria (GPBN). He has wide range of published opinion, investigative, and research articles. At various times, he has worked with NGOs, FBOs and CBOs, to deliver advocacy mandates in the overall interest of the community.
He is happily married, with one child.
